   Ok, I’m currently doing laser hair removal on my underarms, legs, and bikini. The underarms is the LEAST painful of the 3. Basically because the hair isn’t as thick as the other 2 places. It didn’t bother me much and I remember thinking "that’s it?" But the legs almost made me cry =(

   It’s permanent after you finish a series of treatments
   The hairs will never grow back
   Any hair that form after the treatments though will be there
   But people have at least 80% of all their hair after puberty so you will permanently remove at least 80% of your hair, which ain’t bad =)
   I’m doing 6 treatments and it cost me $750 for all of them
   I’ve done one so far and am due for my next appointment a week from today.
   About… 1/3 of the hair fell out on the first treatment
   Every time you go they turn up the power of the laser making it hurt more, But you have less and less hairs so the pain is supposedly going to balance out and not get any worse.

   For a couple hours afterward the area may be irritated
   The give you hydrocortizone to put on it (anti-inflamitory) to help with swelling, but honestly… It’s not NEAR as bad as the irritation of post waxing =)

   I don’t know what you mean by "clean shave" but it takes 2-3 weeks for the hairs killed to fall out, and you will notice the hair thinning =)
